When the sun goes down

Sunsets are one of my favourite things to witness. The colour of the sky, the patterns created, the light it reflects, there are just so many amazing elements. The North Coast of Ireland produces some of the most stunning sunsets. If asked to guess the location of this sunset you would probably name numerous countries before the North Coast was thought of. We have so many amazing locations in our country and I am keen to explore more of them.

This picture was taken a good few months ago. Conditions were great for any photographer, especially a newbie like me. When I was looking through some pictures to post, this one came up. The beauty of it stands out to me but it also got me thinking about sunsets, more specifically, endings. This sun will set in a spectacular display and all of a sudden that light will be gone. A darkness will descend, before a whole brand new day starts again. My week has been a pretty low one. A week in which I felt I had hit my limit and it manifested itself in poor ways. However, this picture sparked something within me. The sunsets end and the process starts all over again in a new day. So enjoy the sunsets and the beauty of it. Let the darkness come but always remember the sun rises every single morning and so will you. Keep your head up :)
